3 New habits that will shape my future
by creating ripple effects
Hey Mate 👋,
before I went on a camping trip to the UK, I almost burned out.
When I got back, I knew something had to change.
So I got to work.
I introduced 3 new habits.
I picked the three with the biggest ripple effects.
Meaning that getting this habit down will impact a lot of things in my life.
I’m betting on my time (with poker chips)
I’m leaving my phone far away from the table (I’m too lazy to get up)
I pause and reflect on distractions (with a 1-minute hourglass)
As you can see, physical objects work well for me when building habits.
It’s all about visual cues in the environment.
