SEO is hard, they say...

Is it really?

Hey Mate 👋,

a lot of people think that SEO is hard.

And I used to think the same way.

But essentially it’s just a couple parameters.

  1. Supply and Demand

  2. Help the user

  3. Know what you’re talking about

Let me break it down 👇

Supply and Demand

The less supply there is for what you’re trying to rank, the easier it will be to rank.

This makes sense because if Google has a lot of options to pick from, they will usually not pick a new domain.

Help the user

The better you are at helping the user, the more your content will be shared, by users and by google.

This works because Google wants to be the best search engine.
Because they want to show the most ads.
Because they want to make the most money.

Good search results mean the user keeps coming back to google. Win-Win

Know what you’re talking about

You need to know what you’re talking about, and the closer what you say is to your product, the better. (Especially in the beginning)

Ask yourself, would you read this article, or does it read like it was written to satisfy some algo overlord?

Ofc if you want to get the most out of your efforts in SEO, you should be strategic about it too.

No need to write SEO content for keywords that nobody actually uses…

And here is how you can make sure you get it right👇
